We hope you have a relaxing time in the autumn’s mild climate, after the hot summer.

In the autumn, we enjoy a full moon as a harvest moon in Japan, which is called ‘otsukimi’.
Tsuki means ‘moon’, O is an honorific expression for Tsuki, and Mi (miru) is 'look' in Japanese. Especially, the full moon in September or October is called ‘Chushu no meigetsu’. We place some offerings and give thanks to the moon for the harvest. (in 2025, the Chushu no meigetsu is October 6th)

Depending on the country, some kinds of creatures are living on the moon. It was believed that rabbits lived on the moon and were making Mochi in Japan.

Due to recent changes to the tariff percentage, the duty free De minimis rule since end on Aug. 29th.
We know ‘in the USA, there was a De minimis rule, where customers didn’t need to pay the tariff for purchases under 800 USD’. After the suspension of this rule, every customer needs to pay a tariff when they purchase from Japan. (from any countries)

If you purchase products from our shop, the tariff rate for Japan would be 15% plus the original tax for dolls. And we expect delays for customs processing for shipping in the USA.

DHL will send messages about the price of tariffs before shipping or during/ after delivery. Because it just started, we don’t have enough information. Please follow the announcement from DHL.
