This cute kokeshi doll, which is decorated with a sunflower hair accessory, was made by NIIYAMA Mayumi who is a Yajiro style kokeshi craftsperson.
She said that she made the accessory as a Kanzashi, which is the Japanese style ornament hairpin. It looks like a flower hat as well.
