 A kokeshi doll, on which was painted a goldfish pattern on the body, is standing on an aquarium fish bowl. This kokeshi was made by HIRAGA Teruyuki 平賀輝幸 who is a Sakunami style kokeshi craftsman.

The small swimming aquarium fish and swaying water grass give a relaxing image to this doll.

He was born in 1972. He started learning to make kokeshi from 1987 under the guidance of his grandfather Kenjiro Hiraga and his father Kenichi Hiraga. Teruyuki is the fourth member of the Hiraga family whose work belongs the Hiraga kokeshi ten.
