This is a vintage Naruko style of ejiko kokeshi doll, by TAKAHASHI, Shogo(1929-2020) in Tohoku, Japan.
Ejiko is one of the names for cradle in Japanese, which was used while parents were farm working in a rural area.
Due to age, this kokeshi has a discolouration.
The small items are not included in the product.

He was born as the fifth son of Takezo TAKAHASHI(1888-1969) who was a kokeshi craftsman. He started learning woodwork in 1947. He started making kokeshi dolls from 1949. He had been making kokeshi dolls just prior to his death in 2020.
