This is a wooden toy ‘Kendama’, by kokeshi craftsman SATO Hideyuki who is a Yajiro style craftsman. Kendama is a classic toy in Japan. You can have fun trying catch the ball on the main handle and cup.
Of course, the daruma face will be damaged easily when you play with this Kendama. But you can enjoy the kokeshi, which looks like it has arms.

He was born as the first son of Seiko SATO (1947-) who is a Yajiro style kokeshi craftsman.
