kokeshi book | TRADITIONAL KOKESHI ARTIST FILE-3 | traditional style kokeshi craftsmen and their kokeshi dolls

This ‘TRADITIONAL KOKESHI ARTIST FILE’, published in 2018, is the third edition introducing 184 kokeshi craftspeople and their kokeshi dolls. Kamei museum added 22 new people and formally famous craftspeople in the booklet in2023.

Because this book was written only in Japanese, we will insert a note with the English pronunciation of Kanji names.

When you see your kokeshi doll with the craftsmen’s face in this book, it will expand your interest in the kokeshi world and let you put a face to the name.

- Our Kokeshis are painted with water colors, so they can be easily damaged by water. Please use a dry cloth to clean it.
- Our kokeshi are made of wood, so please avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat. Humidity may damage the kokeshi. Please avoid excess moisture. (especially direct air from the air conditioner damages to the kokeshi dolls.)

We will ship your kokeshi dolls by DHL within 3 business days after your purchase is complete. The estimated time will be 5-10 days. Please double check your registered sending address before completing your order. Every shipment has the tracking number. We will send you the number after shipping your parcel.

[ Custom Tariff ]
Every customer is responsible for any customs and taxes when you import items from Japan. Especially, the customers from EU, UK and some other countries, sorry this shop doesn’t accept IOSS in those countries. The delivery staff will ask you to pay the tax when they deliver.
